Cupcake Camp Miami is O.V.E.R. We raised $1635 at the event, which is a phenomenal amount considering the event was on a Wednesday in a sketchy location (neighborhood, not venue) and the weather was horrid the entire day. One hundred and forty cupcake fanatics were at the event. By all measures and from all the conversations I have had with the bakers and attendees in the days since the event, the event was a success for everyone. The question then becomes "now what?" How do we keep up the momentum? How do we build off the success of Cupcake Camp Miami? The answer is simple. Two words simple.
Iron Cupcake.
The bakers have asked for it and we are going to make it happen. Miami doesn't have anything like this...yet. It's in the beginning stages of organization but I'm really excited about being a part of this and uniting the cupcake baking community.
