Freedom!

Today was my last test! I felt like doing a dance after I finished. It feels great to have the first semester of law school under my belt. The past two weeks have been a marathon and I didn't think my brain could fit so much information. It's amazing what the brain is capable. Now I have to catch up on everything I have neglected. My apartment is in dire need of cleaning and I need to learn how to socialize with other human beings again.

Now I am going to get on my little soapbox and tell you about law school. It is totally doable! It is a lot of work and it is very time consuming but it is not as hard as people make it seem. I really do believe that anyone can do law school...as long as you are diligent and determined. So if you are thinking about law school and are scared of it, don't be! You have probably turned the idea of law school into this this big, ugly, scary monster when it really isn't. It is so manageable and, while they try to intimidate you in the beginning, you will survive!

Ok, that's all I wanted to say. I could probably go on and on but I know talking about law school isn't as fun as talking about food :) And if anything, take a look at what has made me smile over the last two weeks and what has reminded me of the joy and innocence that can exist in the world:

A huge thanks to my amazing husband for supporting me, dealing with my crankiness and legal threats (somehow you can work marriage in to every possible legal field), and sending me great pictures of Perla every day :)

I'm done with my finals too! Doesn't it feel good? Too bad you're 1/2 way across the country from me...we could've celebrated together. : )

Yay Steph congratulations! I totally agree with you about law school. Not that you shouldnt be proud of completing your first semester, bc it takes balls to confront the beast law school is. but, it's not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be! Congratulations again! Soon you will be with Perla and Alex.
