I've missed TWD two weeks in a row and I am really pushing myself to find time to make up the past picks and make next week's pick. I have been so busy with all the little details of the Big Move that I haven't even had a chance to spend more than 3 minutes in the kitchen. I need to get back into my baking groove. At least someone else has been baking:

I read blogs - that always inspires me :)
Oh moving sucks. No question about it. Not only is it a real pain, it's just emotionally draining.
I have to say though, if you want a quick yummy fix, the Coconut Butter Thins from last week are so easy to make (I actually made a second batch on Sunday night) and taste yummy. I would think they'd be a perfect (and easy) snack with a cup of tea or coffee when you want to take a break from packing or unpacking.
You know that I bake less often than you do. But usually what brings me to the kitchen is baking something that either I or Lenin have been craving. Anything you or Alex in the mood for? You can get back into it with baby steps.
We all go through our ups and downs so don't be so hard on yourself.
You can do it! You can get back into baking. Finding the time is the hardest part. Just send yourself into the kitchen and make yourself bake (usually, this happens at ungodly hours of the night for me). But, really, at this point in your life, you have a great excuse! With the move, it's completely understandable that you haven't found time! Your grandma's flan looks amazing, by the way!
