Twix Bake Along

I'm going to attempt to make a recipe from one of my books each month. Hopefully some of you will bake along with me :) I'll post the recipe I'm going to do at the beginning of the month and post sometime before the end of the month. This month I chose Twix Cookies from Sherry Yard's Desserts by the Yard. The moment I saw this recipe I knew I had to make it. It's shortbread, caramel, and chocolate...yum! I love the candy so I'm curious to see what this dessert tastes like. I have a feeling it's going to taste better because homemade goods are always a million times better than store-bought.
