Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies

Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies
You know I can't resist chocolate chip cookies. Every time I see a recipe that looks different I have to try it right this second. The day I saw this recipe I made the cookies. I used chocolate malt in my cookies so the cookies were definitely on more chocolaty than your traditional chocolate chip cookie. But that's a good thing because I didn't try this recipe for its traditional-ity. The cookies were good. No, scratch that. They were great. Soft and chewy and gone in a day.

2 whole Eggs
1 Tbsp Vanilla
1 cup Malted Milk Powder
2-½ cups All-purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda

12 ounces, weight Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat baking mat .

In bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and brown sugar. Then add eggs one at a time, beating well to incorporate. Add vanilla.

In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix until well incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.

Use a cookie scoop to place 1 inch balls of dough approximately 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until beginning to brown. Cool for 3-4 minutes before transferring to wire cooling rack.
