Martinis are so much fun. Back in the day when I used to drink more often I would order martinis when I was strapped for cash. Martinis almost always have a good amount of liquor in them and I'm usually good for the night with one drink (I'm a lightweight). This martini is exactly the type of drink I would have ordered. I upped the amount of coconut rum because I like the smooth flavor coconut rum adds to drinks. The coconut rum also toned down the tartness of the pom juice and helped mask the vodka.
POM Drink Week Reminder: I was sent a box of POM Wonderful juices and asked to create drink recipes. I was very happy about this because I am a huge fan of pomegranate juice and an even bigger fan of trying out new recipes. I tried out a few recipes (all good, but not all winners) and will be sharing a new recipe with you each day this week.

You had me at the coconut. I may have to make a couple of these for myself this weekend.
